This material comes from Nevada and is fossilized swamp bog. It is fine-grained and takes an excellent polish.The stone is open in the back and swings on a basket weave bail. Total length – 90 mm x 28 mm wide. Lapidary work – John DeLong. Weight – 26 grams.
