Peanut Wood Pendant

Peanut Wood is a variety of petrified wood found in Western Australia. It gets its name from the peanut shaped markings that marine clams left when their bore holes were replaced with agate. The stone is set in sterling silver with a tube bail and open back behind the stone. Total length – 42 mm x 42 mm wide. Weight – 27 grams. Lapidary work by John DeLong.
